Quarterly Musings—Summer ’21

Quarterly Musings—Summer ’21

Welcome to the first Quarterly Musings; a seasonal share of the past three-months’ worth of my Handwritten Poetry, some photographed Frozen Memories and the most recent bookish & news updates worth sharing once again 🙂

Whether you’re a first time visitor, or someone (incredibly lovely) who either follows my blog or social media, I hope you’ll also enjoy looking back at the season for one last time before departing into the next one; I’m personally keeping my fingers crossed for some gorgeous, fiery leaves of Autumn.

Yet first, let’s dive back into Summer for a spell, shall we?

Handwritten Poetry

The handwritten poems are written with a fountain pen, after which they are staged with various props and trinkets to enhance the mood of my words, and the photographs eventually edited in Photoshop for that finishing touch; they verse about life and love, and as frequently as I can I share them on my social media channels.

As often as I can I enjoy going for walks, breathe in the fresh air, and capture the beauty of nature around me. This season, like Spring, is always full with floral splendour, and it comes as no surprise I could not resist capturing some of it.

Bookish News & Updates

Well, considering this is the very first Quarterly shared, in the very first week this new site & blog is live, you will probably excuse me for the lack of updates in this section, as the biggest update is simply that my brand-new online home is here 😉

However, if you’d like a little taste of what’s more to come, I happily invite you to read my previous two blogposts, of which the second hints on some upcoming bookish releases!

Okay, with this I’ve reached the end of this past season’s Quarterly Musings, I hope you enjoyed it, and I will return with the next one somewhere in late December~

Thanks so much for reading—until next time.

Sending my love, Kimberly.
