Paperback Cover Reveals
After being bookishly busy—and quite social media “there and back again” presence-wise on many an occasion for these past weeks, I finally get to share a sneak-peek of my upcoming re-releases with you all of my three poetry collections Dreamscape, Musings from a Wildflower and Amaranthine!
At this exact moment in time as I’m typing this, I have finished work on Dreamscape entirely, and am actually awaiting the paperback copy to be delivered to me by the postal services, which is very, very exiting! I’m really curious to see how the black-and-white version looks in actual print—and, naturally, to be able to share it with you 🙂
Next collection that I’ll be focusing on will be Musings from a Wildflower, but I’ve tickled myself and redesigned not only that books’ cover, but that of Amaranthine as well. So, without further ado, scroll further down to see them all on their own, along with the respective blurbs.
“Lightweight strangers fly
through my wild, curious mind—
Imagery breathes life”
You’re invited to escape into another world.
Dreamscape is filled with artwork that blends the thin line between fiction and reality.
A poetic journey of chasing goals, wishes and daydreams, late nighttime ponderings, and staying strong in those moments of falling down and getting up again, while holding on to the valid courage to keep believing in yourself.
our infinite skies, we blossom
everywhere, growing strong—
An ocean of colour, we are
wildflowers, seizing the day”
Musings from a Wildflower is a collection of visual poems from the Micro Poetry series.
Inspired by philosophy, nature, daily thoughts and emotions, these minimalistic poems blend words with imagery, and aim to encourage, make one ponder, or show you the beauty that can be found in the little things.
“Life, an infinite dance
of endings and beginnings—
We bloom eternal”
Amaranthine is a collection of visual poems from the Haiku series.
Counting a hundred poems in total, these three-line verses are influenced by the art found in traditional Japanese poetry styles, and inspired by the continuous changes that happen all around us, in both nature and life.
Workaholic as I am ;), I also created a new page for the website especially for my poetry books, on which—in future—you will find all purchase links and some peeks inside each of the books so you can get a taste of the poems and interior design. So, if you’re curious, you can already find it here.
There’s still plenty to do (from working on the actual books, like creating the new interiors, and a whole lot of checking, checking, and double-checking, to creating promotional images/photos to use here and on social media), but I could not resist taking a moment and sharing this step forward for now; please drop me a line if you enjoyed it, or feel like cheering me on—I’d sincerely love that ❤
Thanks so much for reading—until next time.
Sending my love, Kimberly.
